Nice find getting a set of those!
They'd look great on an S1 looking at the photo above, although clearance is a bit of an issue, as this pic shows:

Just a quick update. I did my first track day at Snetterton on the 2nd. Photos and videos below
It was wet all day which wasn't great fun but the car did the 100 miles there, the track day and the 100 miles back without skipping a beat, so I really can't complain there!
Given the wet and every lap having different levels of grip it was hard to start to start to push the car and myself. I was braking very early to shed speed, coming off the brakes and then going back on rather than trying to push things as I didn't want an off. I had one dry session but off line was wet and you still couldn't determine what grip was going to be like, so didn't push it, but could get a feel for just how much grip the car can have given the right conditions.
I soon realised, in the wet the car gives you about half a seconds notice that the back is going and if you don't have full lock on its going to spin you!
I can't wait for summer next year. Thankfully I had AD08R's on the car and not something like R888's otherwise the day would have been a disaster.
Here are some photos and vids. Lots going wrong with the driving, but given the wet I wasn't trying to master anything, just go swiftly without hitting a barrier

Given the speed the back would come round in the wet I found my car limits day coming in handy. Letting go off the wheel allowing it to put lock on much faster than I was able to and then grabbing it at the right moment to bring the car back
