Cheers I do keep thinking about going for an exige conversion in the future, pretty easy, basically a clam swap and wheel swap, if you have the cash of course.

DO IT. S1s are fecking beasts and I can put you in touch with a pro who's daily is conversions. Audi equipped but nevertheless, he is expert in the field and respected on all the key forums.
He has built some lovely exige s1s and I will probably buy one at some stage when/if I change the s2

If only money wasn't an issue. The kit alone is 4k plus painting and fitting. The wheels are like rocking horse s h1t to find as well and wouldn't be cheap
They do look good in red though:
Although with the Elise body they can still look great, although this has Exige wheels. Mine has the same style but the elise 15 front/16 rear, not 16 front and 17 rear with a dish.
I'm getting tempted by the 'Sport 160' rear spoiler, it looks great in that photo above.
The black front lip is tempting as well, but the number of times the MDF splitter on the car hits the ground at the minute it's not worth doing. It caught a cats eye the other day on very heavy braking . I resprayed it a few weekends back in satin black it it looks quite smart now. A much cheaper alternative I think, keeping it wood.
