Are all Toyos good?
Was looking for tyres for partner's hatchback
Surprised to see Toyos cheaper than a load of budget brands
With brands like Michelin, Continenal, etc, I have found the quality to be standard through the range
Same with Toyos?

I perceive that brands that are fitted to very high end cars maintain their production quality right through the range

You've answered it yourself really.
On a standard car just put on standard tyres-i.e. those tyre brand/types that you are comfortable with, i.e. those brands you would put on ANY car.
I don't know about "standard" toyos as I have no experience with the standard ones, but I imagine they will be fine.

I have had many sets of diffent Toyos going back nearly 10 years now.
All of them have been great.
Admittedly, the Eagle F1 has been SLIGHTLY better in the wet, but then the Eagle F1 is probably the best all-round road tyre I know of.
I'd happily stick the Proxes 4/CF1(?) on my beater

The Proxes range are an excellent tyre wet or dry. They are lethal in snow, but F1s are only slightly less fatal.
The Toyo racing tyres are well-regarded by those that use them.
No experience of the boring car Toyos. But I'd fit a performance tyre to a boring car, to make it less boring!
In other words, each specific tyre may or may not work on each specific car and it's trial and error, mostly. Anyone buying any tyre by brand alone is foolhardy. Other than to know Michelins are the wrong type of rubber and Continentals tend to be too hard and Pirellis used to be technology leaders etc.
Even some Falkens and Hankooks are well-regarded these days...

I can't make my mind up about mine, recently fitted to replace the BS' boulders I had on each corner.
They still seem a little 'floaty' (done approx 800 miles on them now) .. i have 36psi all round as recommended on here but still ...
having said that i don't think i have had so much sideways fun as these T1R's allow for a very smooth drift, very progressive and not 'snap away' as I found the bridges to be ...
