It all happened in slow motion

agreed, perhaps the Police should video the initial situation and the video of the initial "attitude" should also be aired at court? in the interests of ensuring that justice is served.
So glad you werent involved.
I love a happy ending

Why?
Like it's gonna deter chavvy scroates like these?
You only have to watch "police interceptors" to see the overgrown children that plod has to deal with all the time these days. One minute they're hurling abuse at officers, the next minute crying for their mummies. And that's before plod loses his rag with them.

I'm a firm believer in the reasonong that you can beat some sense in to some poeple, maybe if the plod acted a bit more like the 50's copper at times, drunken gob shite drivers would think twice.

not saying i drink drove when i was younger, but i certainly didnt think about the conciquences that i could hurt/kill someone.
only now im thinking about it a little bit more. luckly, i never really came unstuck. near misses i've had - a few handfuls of "your being a c0ck" moments which have slowed me down and made me think about when and where to have fun.

The Police - if it is Traffic Police, often do have video of behaviour of drivers / suspects on the street, driving and then in custody suites. We ask the CPS if they will try to show the Magistrates but rarely does it get shown. Oddly, the Mags don't want to see it, the defence solicitor will start to bleat that it is not relevant and it just gets put to one side.
Shame, they are quick enough to request it in order to delay the proceedings in the first place or make allegations when we can't find it from the stores quick enough

Great bit of defensive driving mate, you could have so easily got caught up with these twat's simpleton games.
I'm hoping that they're going to get the book thrown at them, but I somehow know they'll get off lightly.
Don't ask me what punishment I think they ought to get........

Bit of an update ... had a letter from Staffordshire's finest this morning.
Following the submitted written statements of the witnesses, the driver of the Clio is up in court next month for on charges of driving without due care and attention, I'll be notified nearer the date if I'm needed to testify.
Best get my suit to the dry cleaners!
