Default £300k Insurance Claim for Test Drive Crash

Ouch

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/...st/8584878.stm

The insurance claim was lodged by the test driver, not the owner of the car.

Ouch!!

I'm wondering if the "test driver" had agreed to buy the car and the owner had his deposit so the ownership of the car was due to switch after the test driver.

I can't believe the guy uses Aviva, they wanted a fortune to insure the S, I wonder how much that guy got raped on the Zonda

Don't think i'd want that back after £300k of repairs!! Imagine trying to sell it on.

That was my first thought. But more than likely it will be repaired to a very high standard. In fact they probably almost make you a new car, and re-use what bits they can from your car. You'd like to think a hand made car like the Zonda was built/repaired with more care than a Ford Fiesta

Possibly.

Or it was a journo. IIRC, some of the mags are insured with Uvavu.

The Dab of Oppo might have been hard to apply...
