I wish everyone else sharedd y'alls contempt for the F430 styling, b/c then maybe the value would tank enough so I might be able to afford one!
I've driven and ridden in several Ferraris, and they feel far more special than a Corvette, or any other car I've experienced. You don't even have to be hauling ass to appreciate the incredible engine sounds.

Agreed. I own a new Vette and I think the Ferrari's are beautiful. I love the F430 and if I hit the lotto, I'd buy one (along with many other cars). I've only ridden in a F355 at Texas World Speedway many years ago and it does feel like a very special car.
Ferrari vehicles are not for people who have to justify the value of one.

The Corvette is like a perfect Housewife MILF. She attracts young and old men alike, but usually only old men get to ride her. Shes low maintenance because she's been doing the same thing for what seems like forever and alot of men love that sort of thing. She always looks good when you go out but never attracts too much attention. And like most MILFs, they're mod friendly.
Ferrari's are like the dirty red head at the office that's trying to have an affair with you. They attract way to much attention. They look ridiculous to some and attractive to other. They preform well where it counts but sometimes they breakdown or explode. They end up costing you a fortune no matter how long you stay with them. If you've had the chance to experience one, they're fun at first, then you realize it's completely shallow.

One of my friends just keeps buying more and more of them. He's never had a Vette, and has no interest in any of them no matter how well they perform.
Much as I love Ferraris, I'd buy a Corvette over a Ferrari based on value.
It's all about how wealthy you are - if you have enough $$$, you can buy what you want w/o sweating about value, maint./repair costs, etc.

Why are you guys even discussing the looks of the Vette vs. F430? There should be no argument, even though looks are subjective.
I need some to join the discussion.
Btw, those who are saying the Vette looks better, have you even seen an F430 in person?
