C6 is handsome from all angles and catchy? So the F430 is not?
Of course most people have never and probably will not get the chance to drive a Ferrari. That calls exclusiveness(that why it cost so much more), something the C6 is on the other end of this spectrum. We all could visit our local Chevrolet dealer and test drive the C6 can you do the same with the F430? Did you really think Ferrari charge you 2x the money so you will get 2x the car in performance? I hope you are not that gullible. Why do I want the bigger and better of things in life when the same but lesser one will be adequate? C'mon now, I'm sure you are mature enough to understand this concept.
There more to a car the just all out power, after all isn't that why most of us bought the S2000 and not the EVO or STI?

I understand your point about exclusivity. i have always been a "best car for the money"(cause im poor) kinda guy. i WOULD pass up alot of the itailians, simply cause in my eyes, there not good deals for what you get. i also make less then 100k a year and will never touch a ferrari, the closest i get is leaning over the ropes at a car show to just touch a fender. LOL
thats another subject....concerning my thoughts on the F430's desgin...
the rear is too busy, it looks like its getting a wedgie. i dont like the taillights. the front just looks like you grabbed the cheeks of a 360 and pulled back, facelift style. its got to many vents and cut outs, i know they serve a purpose, but common, its a bit much.
sure im nit-pickin some very clean design, and yes the vette is very ferrari-esque but sadly IMHO the vette pulls is off better, while staying half true to is past design.
