dude.
I also think this will take out the ACR... the suspension and weight savings is going to make a tremendous difference.
Now, if they did this w/ a ZR1, it would be a world beater. (to the extent that it isn't already...)

i have no doubt that the moton suspension is awesome. i have no doubt that the weight savings will make a huge difference. but i do have doubts about the lack of aero. this vette doesnt even come close to the same level of downforce as the acr. if the track calls for some high speed cornering, smell ya later corvette.
don't get me wrong, i always like to root for the lighter car (i drive a miata and, well, it's all we got. lol) but i am just skeptical that this tuner car can beat a car with 1000's of hours of development time conducted under much higher standards.

Keep in mind that it's essentially half the cost of a 430...

Indeed, I doubt any 430 ownners will sell their cars for a Z06 Clubsport. But for somebody looking to get into a Clubsport/ACR/Scuderia type car for the first time, the $100k savings realized by getting the Z06 instead of the 430 can be a huge factor. And what if their budget is only $120k? The person I responded to said "it's really nice...but that over a 430? fuk no!" which is a valid opinion, but mine is that the price difference makes the decision much, much closer than that.
