I'd take an NSX over a C5 Z06. But not this Z06.
Come on this is 500 hp in under 3200 lb car...
This is a F50 eater-upper. This is F430 performance.
The NSX is super-nice. However you'd be hard pressed to tell the performance difference between the NSX and the Boxster S 280hp.
IMO the NSX is great. However it's performing at F355 levels while the rest of the automotive world has moved on. Now an EVO can do that.
Acura has a 300hp V6 in a F-en sedan. Put some cams in it and make it 333hp (at least) -come on BMW has been doing it for years- Thats at the very least. 3.5L = 350hp Acura could do that standing on their head.

Wouldn't you rather have a Noble M12 or something for that price (I think turnkey M12 is a bit less than that) and offering similar if not more performance?
But...the allure of torque will always be there (at least for me).

Why does the Enzo, Ford GT, and SLR McLaren weigh so much? How is it that GM is able to keep the weight of the Z06 down while the other cars that were designed from the ground up as exotics ($100k +) couldn't. Does the Enzo, GT, and SLR have better ridigity? What am I missing here?
