You guys are missing such young cars...

Let's see, if I think back there are 2 cars I really miss, one of them will make most of you but that's ok, I really did love that car, it was very cool, and I have always been a fan of hot hatchbacks.

- 1973 AMC Gremlin-X with the Levi interior.
It was yellow with black stripes, the engine was a 4.2 inline 6 that was a more than fun powerplant for the weight of the car, and the 3-on the floor.

- 1973 Mercury Capri
It was British Racing Green with black vinyl top, the engine was a 2.6 V6 and this car flew. The suspension was very European as it was a German built Ford and it handled great.

Not mine, but a pic of a Capri.

The other car I would miss is my '90 CRX-Si, but I got smart as soon as I bought my house, and decided to keep in. I just can't imagine life without my CRX-Si.

I bought this brand spanking new.... I love the S2000 but this car is the best decision i ever made purchasing a vehicle. The performance was great, interior was soooooo clean and it looks good.
Funny you should mention the R32, cuz when I saw the title of this post, the first thing came to my mind was my '04 R32 I had.
I just LOVED that car.
I lost it to an accident and I miss it since.
I should've sued that b!tch who caused the accident.
Here's my old R32.

Dan

Wow sounds like you had a really good experience with your R32. I've been thinking about getting one. I have a 1.8T GTI right now, and have always wanted the R32 for obvious reasons, save the gas mileage. Would you consider picking up a used A4 R32? Have you driven the new one?
To tell you the truth, the R32 doesn't give great gas mileage.
I think mine averaged about 22~24 mpg.

Yeah, but the car's just great.
I always drool over an MKIV R32 whenever I see one since I lost mine.

My GF bought the MKV R32 last December and it definitely has nicer interior, but for some reason(maybe it's the DSG) I prefer my old R32.
Even my GF agrees to that. It's more refined and all, but I like the older bold style.

You should definitely test drive one.
I've seen quite a few low mileage MKIV R32s for sale.

The only previous car I miss is my G2 Integra. Mainly I miss it because of all the time, sweat, blood that went into building it up. It wasn't a showpiece, but I had installed the major upgrade items (I/H/E/sus/wheels/bars/etc) and I had so much fun with it.

Sad day when it got parted out and sold, but the S helped cure my woes somewhat

i had a 2004 vr6 for about a year before swapping it for my s2000. just recently thought about getting an 04 r32, but am concerned about vw's reliability. for all you r32 owners, was maintenance ever a b!tch the past 4yrs?

From your point of view.....from mine, that's incredible gas mileage!

Of all the cars I've owned, I miss this one the most:

And I keep saying I'm going to get another one, but Bimmers and Porsches keep falling out of the sky

i miss my 1969 FJ40 3 speed, blue body-white top.

sure it did lk 6-7 miles to the gallon, no radio, it only did 55 mph, and it was loud as hell but damm it, that car did not stop for no mountain, storm, even or river, reliable lk no other.
