I'm a member there, and it's open every day ex. Wednesday. It's only 44 miles from my house, too. I went down yesterday during my lunch hour, took 2 hours PBA (Personal Business Allowance) to play on the track, and finished my workday in the clubhouse using their wifi.

^^^ All the membership info, including the contract, is on their website. In short, there's a $2500 initiation fee, and $90/mo. membership dues - these are the most affordable rates of any country club-style track in the country, to the best of my knowledge. Then you just pay for min. 2 hrs. track time per month, which runs $60 weekdays and $90 weekends. Bigger blocks of time are proporationately less per hour.
It's open to anyone who wants to join, and they periodically host DE's, time trials, and other public events. Main reqs. are an SA-rated helmet, not being obnoxiously loud, and a rollbar if in a 1st or 2nd gen Miata - the owners/staff are all very laid-back, and pretty accommodating to everyone.

Damn. That's good stuff. In my neck of the woods, there is Texas Motorsport Ranch, but it is not nearly as affordable.

MSR costs $1200 more to get in, but the monthly membership is the same, and track time seems a bit lower on average. Seems pretty reasonable considering how nice that track is, and all the amenities around it.
I guess I need to double check.
Either way though, I don't think I can afford anything more than an occasional weekend. I have a decent job, but I am also in school and doing so with no loans, so there goes a good chunk of my disposable income.

I just looked over my notes from last weekend. I think I wrote down that it $3,500/ year. I must have misunderstood.
