You guys ever see 100 octane "racing gas" at a regular gas station?

Default You guys ever see 100 octane "racing gas" at a regular gas station?
I was somewhere in PA and almost put this stuff in my minivan (by accident). It was $3.99 per gallon

What do people use it for? I guess drag racing

Yes, in LA 76 sells it for $5.30/gal. I heard in San Fran it's still in the $3.xx range. It helps my car, but it's turboed.

High compression engines or motors that have a high state of tune that they either ping or knock on 92 octane.

The highest I've seen around is Sunoco 94 octane.

I haven't seen it but I've heard of it. I think it's Sunoco GT 100. Select stations have it.

around here they sell cam2 at a few gas stations... 104 octane maybe?? maybe higher.. bout $4-5 a gallon

I've seen one in Las Vegas, it's like $4 something per gallon

I go to a 76 station near where I work for a few gallons of 100 octane once in a while ($5/gal) for my Z06. I think they have a website that can locate nearby stations that carry it.

the gas station in my neighbot hood has it 100 octain, 76 station in Newport, about 4.50 a gal, I recomend just getting barrels of VP blue and filling your own gas at home fo far less.

oh and I saw a place in salt lake city that had up to 112 on tap....
