Ferrari's are supposed to handle a hell of a lot better than lamborgini's, and, being an s2000 owner, thats what matters to me. THat said, I'd take a Koenigsegg CCR over anything ferrari or lambo makes.

Congrats to him.You'll have to come by crystal cove without a doubt.
As for the topic, I've always been a car guy so picking one make over the other doesn't make any sense. The thing that sticks out in my mind is the actual model of the car and that car would be the F40 in all it's various trim levels. LM, GTE, GTE II...
In a few hours, I'm going on a local drive which will include some serious hardware. Hopefully, I'll have a few pics to post later but this question is so open ended that a true car guy could never answer. Just like trying to pick a favorite child.

Like someone said at the top, Lamborghini does not make sports cars, period. They do not make a RWD car, all AWD. They do not make a car that you can fully disable the traction control, period.
All that said, do you know who has owned Lamborghini? Chrysler for a good while. Now it's Audi, and a lot of the current models take parts straight from the Audi parts bins. Ferrari's story is much more interesting. Fiat and Ferrari were arch rivals, Fiat purchased Ferrari and has owned them ever since.
Lamborghini will make whatever will net them some money. They made an SUV for a short while. They'd put some super swampers on a Gallardo and market it if people would buy it.
Lamborghini is a joke.
