I used to be a Lambo guy back in the coutach days, then was neither for a long time, and now I'm more of a Ferrari guy. I think Lambo has moved too much toward luxo-GTs...too heavy. Ferrari's kept their sports cars alive, still relatively light and agile.
If I had that much money tho, I'd buy my Aston Martin Vantage and pocket the remaining cash.

Having driven several varieties of both I can honestly say the most beautiful sound in the world is my friends 360 Modena with a Tubi exhaust. Since the moment I heard it I have been hooked. If the Modena was a car that could be feasibly driven on a daily basis without huge costs I would have one in my garage. The price of the car isn't the issue...the fact that they are far less reliable than my 89 Prelude with 216K miles is what concerns me.

Ferrari has the "drivers edge" but the lambo has the "must have" factor.
Therefore, if I were basing it on track capablity alone, it would be the Ferarri.
However, given the opportunity to own either car, I *must have* the Lambo. The Lambo is so over-the-top, IMO.

I hope you all know the story behind these two giant auto makers.
Lamborghini started as a tractor manufacturer. Later on seeing Enzo's glory and popularity, Ferruccio convinced Enzo that he could and would make a better overall sports car. Which actually never happend, and still nowadays Lamborghini can never come even close to the great Ferrari.

Even though 2 of my all time favorite cars are Lambo's -- the Miura and the Countach, I am still a Tifosi at heart.
This isn't a fair comparision. One company made cars to pay for your track addiction, the other was a tractor company that never tracked their cars. Pretty obvious choice for me.
