Default WTF!?! Audi TT Rs

Automobile magazine says Audi is coming out with a new TT that's V-6, twinturbo, AWD and 400 hp(yes, all in one car). My response is dayyummmm!!!!. It sounds like people can't decide between EVO, S2000 and 350Z can have all in this one. Can't wait to drive one of those.

Sounds impressive, yes. But that doesn't solve the way it looks.

This seems to be Audi's solution to everything these days... add more power, increase the price. I still can't tell Audis apart just from a glance, except the TT. It's the only thing they make that looks unique. Unfortunately in the case of the TT, that's not a good thing.

I really like the looks of the TT, but even with 400hp.. I don't think I'd buy one.

TT which IMO looks great with 400 hp would be quite tempting but without improvements of the chassis, electrical and other quality problems, I'd have to pass

Sounds interesting, but is it going to be $55K+. The current NA V6 is already in the $45K+ price range. There is a point where it just gets too expensive. Hope it has there new DSG transmission.

The Audi TT is definately a cruiser. It is like the SLK 230, not really intended for spirited driving, but just to look good. The engine can actually be fixed up pretty east (to about 300 hp) as it is the same I4 as the regular Audis. But then to really make this car a decent sports car you would have to upgrade the braking, and suspension, and lose about 500 lbs. The new V6 should help it a bit (given the higher hp, and torque figures).
