As far as styling goes, the Evo looks better than the current WRX. I thought the EVO VI looked better than the VII and VIII though. But the new WRX is coming too. Styling wise, it's a toss-up. I still want to see what will happen when the Evo comes here. I've heard rumors it will have a FMIC, rumors that it won't, rumors that the RS is coming here, rumors that the car will be detuned, and rumors that it won't. I wonder if the RS will make it here and how many will be sold... it's kind of a "Type R" Lancer I think. I also want to know how much these cars will cost. I've heard both the Evo and STi may cost as much as $35k but who knows?

If you track the car go for the Evo by all means. However if you want a reliable, good build quality, and balanced street car you can't beat a STI. I'd choose a STI over a Evo anyday. The Evo is a over rated car. II rally racing form nothing can touch it. But the road going version, its buld quality is in par with lowend Kia's.
