Would you rather have a Coupe or a vert?
I've been thinking about what my next car would be if/when the S goes.
If I got a Boxster coupe or a Z06, that'd be the end of drop top driving. But a Boxster S would not be as performance oriented as the Boxster coupe.
Maybe I could keep both a vert and a coupe, but most people don't have that kind of money. Not to mention running out of garage space what with the requisite beater/poor weather car.
This is a difficult poll, b/c you could get a car that's neither like a targa: Z06 or NSX for example.
For my example we'll call anything that's not a Vert a Coupe. Thus C6 coupe or NSX coupe.
So it makes you wonder if you had a choice like 911 coupe or 911 cab. or Boxster or Boxster coupe. or F430 or F430 spyder. Of if honda made a S2000 coupe would you rather have that or S2000 vert?

I'd rather have a coupe. But I like the fact that I have the option to go topless if I want to remove the hardtop for a nice afternoon.
I got tired of the whole convertible thing when I had my '01 S2000. I used to go top down in that thing every time I drove it... got very tired of it.

I see you've changed the original post a little.
All else equal, 'vert', 'vert', 'vert'!
The only time I don't enjoy spirited driving in my S is when it is raining out or icy--conditions that I wouldn't be able to take a sporty coupe out in anyway. It's possible for a foul-weather vehicle to be fun too but in a 4x4 truck kinda way.
If Honda were to reverse-engineer a coupe from the current roadster, they'd probably be near equal in price so I'd take the roadster.
If Honda went back in time and designed an S2000 coupe first, and then based the roadster off of that, I would take the coupe because it would probably be $4000 or so cheaper.

You are asking who would want a vert or a coupe on a web site dedicatied to a car that only comes as a vert. Are you expecting a fair survey?
