Ha! I just saw that the Cobra comes with the S2000 starter button. At least if you get it, you will still have the essence of your S2K.

You know the Elise will come with a starter button also. I'm just throwing that info out in case you have to have a car with a starter button.

I would take the Elise. Would you rather be driving a Lotus or a kit car? For me the choice is simple.

Sounds like you really want the cobra to me. that thing is hella fine.

the cobra definitely calls to me more. it just has so much more soul. On the other hand, i'm worried it will have too much soul and be a pain in the ass in the long run.

You can get a new Elise next year, but how often can you get a Cobra in nice shape like that? IMHO, that Cobra is the epitome of sports car, while the Lotus may also be, it doesn't really hold a candle to the brawling Cobra. No contest in my mind.

After looking at the pictures, and the price, I'd buy the Cobra rep in a heartbeat. That is a very nice ride. The Lotus may be sweet, but some talented people put that Daytona together. For all the reasons the Lotus is great, the Cobra is better.
