Which would you rather have?
Many of you know that i have been eagerly awaiting my Elise for a while. However, i've always had a special place in my heart for Shelby Cobras. I actually was very close to buying a Superformance Cobra recently but didn't pull the trigger.
Anyway, this car came up for sale and i really want it. Would you rather have this or an Elise? The car will be used for general fun cruising, canyon slamming, and track days. I will be living in So Cal. I also have worked on Ford's for my whole life so tinkering on the daytona will not be a problem and would actually be fun.

The F5 has a:
Seems like a winner to me!
Seriously, if you could get the F5 for around $30-35k, I'd go that route...

money is not really an issue here. The Daytona will actually be a little more expensive. Here's what i like about each.
FFR Daytona:
sexy as hell
very rare and unique
super fast
Ford parts that i am familiar with (ease of maintenance and low cost replacements)
Super raw, basically a race car
Much better power to weight ratio (300rwhp and 2300lbs)
Elise:
lightning quick handling
new car with new parts and warranty
open top for nice sunny so cal days

Bummer... Guess I'd have to side with the Elise for its toplessness.
