Though the Si may not be as "pure" as some Honda fans would like, it's still a very good car at the price point. Even the Focus ST gets you into the mid to upper 20K price range...
Civic Si 22,715
Focus ST 24,115

But you get 50 more hp and 100 lb-ft of torque in the ST. Not saying the Si ins't a good value but comparing it to the ST is a losing argument and the Kicker, the ST gets 1 mpg better fuel economy!

Honda needs to up its game IMO. I love my S2000 but the rest of Honda's lineup is falling short. I think its time to stop messing around and strap some turbos on to those NA gems.
Honda is releasing a new civic type r in 2015 that will be turbo and have 300hp also supposed to be the fastest FWD car to ever run the nuriburgring.

and it won't be released in the US so it doesn't matter to 90% of the people on this forum

You know that? I didn't know you worked for Honda. Also if Honda is making bad ass fwd cars that would spank the living shit anything VW could even fathom don't talk.

Same story as the GTI. The focus starts at 24,115 but go ahead a put the same equipment on the civic and the focus and they focus will be close to 29K

You're right. The Si goes head to head with the GTI and the GTI is turbo. I don't see anyone saying that the GTI is getting far behind.

They never said it was coming to the us market....until this model came along. There is some pretty big rumors in some publications claiming this might hit us.

Even if it didn't. You can't knock Honda if they have the fastest fwd car in the world. Who cares wether you are able to buy it or not. Fact is Honda is doing big things in the game, while you are arguing over their mid level sedan.
