Yes, the lambo doors would save you from dinging your car, but it still makes for difficult entries and exits. If you were to take a part of the roof and attach it to the door as one unit you would elimanate that annoying action of tucking you head into your chest.
Sorry if I didn't mention the roof part in my first post. I was just wondering what you thought about having sliding doors on an exotic and forgot about the roof aspect.
So to summarize my posts:
Would a sliding door with apart of the roof make for a good door design? In my opinion, it would. The only problems with the sliding doors are cool factor, some people don't like the idea of having minivan doors on an exotic, and also the weight of the rails and other components.
Alright, to solve the weight issue can't we just use carbon fiber, seeing how it is an exotic.
