Which would you prefer to drive in the snow: FWD or RWD?

personally, my accord is fwd compared to my s rea w drive. i feel that the front has more traction, just like the other owners mentioned.

Both my Celica and MR2 have snow tires, and I can say with 100% honesty that I'd rather drive the MR2. I feel I have more control with rwd.

RWD here.

The characteristics about FWD that make it a poor choice for a performance car still exist in the winter. Just because traction is limited, FWD doesn't suddenly become something it isn't. Good tires make a car a good winter car, along with ground clearance, and weight. Oh, and let's not forget: driver. I learned to drive on RWD cars, with icy roads and deep snow on the road sometimes. I can understand that some people aren't as familiar with RWD, but I don't think that makes FWD better, just better for them.

rwd, even when I lived in the snow with a 4wd truck I left it in 2wd I liked the control with a drift rather than the plow and prey with my civic in the snow.
