[QUOTE=MDXLuvr,May 23 2007, 06:31 PM] I would buy a F430 F1 in a heartbeat if you can find me one for $180k.

Thinking of buying a Ferrari and actually buying one are 2 completely different issues.

Interesting post MDX. I posted this on FerrariChat see what response they'd give.

Jeez. Some harsh words over there. To sum some of them up - "Can't afford an F430? GTFO." Calling him a "serial whiner?" I think the ones doing the hostile posts are simply offended that they went thgough a purchase process that was described as being difficult and expensive, and are lashing out in return. They didn't catch the comment about owning a Ferrari requiring a lot of passion - a complement, in my book. For example, I paid over MSRP in November '99 for my S2000 - described as "stupid" and "idiotic" and such by various people over the years, but I loved the car and that's what it took to own one back then. I'm proud that I have such a low s2ki number and have owned the car for so long. I think my ownership experience has been worth every penny. Seems like a Ferrari owner or two are a little sensitive to criticism of their own purchase decisions, however.

After reading that trash I think I would rather drive a corvette with its stigma than a Ferrari....

Who's right? The Ferrari owners who say MDXLuvr's a serial whiner? Or the S2000 owners who say paying over MSRP was a stupid thing to do in 1999?
