Thats a tough one. The 95 is OBDI so you can mod it easier and it has more S/C options. Unfortunately, its heavy and is a 5 spd. But, headers/exhaust and you should be at 260WHP(240-245 stock). The 98 has a 6 spd but less modability since its OBDII. Mods are expensive on a NSX so you need to add that to the equation. I guess it really depends on the service history of the car. Make sure you get a PPI. Very Very important when buying older cars with multiple owners. Personally - I wouldn't go by price 1st. I would 1st try to figure out if you want a coupe or T and then go for price.
Finally - either way you can't go wrong IMHO.

[QUOTE=khuezee,May 11 2007, 10:03 AM] Was also considering a used cayman S, but that will run you at least $50K and doesn't offer the exclusivity of the nsx or convertible driving (targa in nsx is next best thing).

Cayman S is definitely equivalent performance wise to the NSX. Aftermarket is more expensive though. NSX also has a bit more of a raw, connected feel, despite slightly lower limits.
