Would it be halfway crazy to buy this as a daily driver?

Look at the whole situation. The CAR IS A CLEAN TITLE meaning it's never been stolen. So obviously someone made it 13 years without being jacked. It's crazy how some people on here look at things.

1) Clean title doesnt mean it was not stolen, because a car can be stolen and have a clean title, it just means the car was recovered before the insurance company settled as it never coming back (most wait 30+ days before settling) and the damages if there were any wasn't enough to total it.
2) With every generalization, there always exceptions, and if you live your life by exceptions, I hear old Jaguars make exceptional DDs, all the lux of a top end german car and my friend's Jag has been toyota camry reliable.
I dont see why this car would be any less reliable than a gsr or prelude, so provided that it was well taken care of and not abused (I'd seriously question that second part) I don't see why not. Given the age and mileage though, expect other things to start going bad, wearable items on suspension like struts, bushings, etc, clutch perhaps? cvs tend to go bad on hondas around that time, electricals like starters and fuel pumps tend to be on borrowed time by that point, etc etc. So I'd be surprised if you went 30K and all you needed to do was oil changes, gas, and maybe brakes, something is bound to go wrong with that mileage and age.
And if you plan on driving it from your locked garage to another locked/guarded garage, and never leave it parked in public unattended for over an hour, especially at night on a street, I don't see what's wrong with buying one. Hope it's worth it.

$10 grand for a soon to be 14 year old Honda with almost 140,000 miles as a daily driver. Not for me. At $5 grand, maybe. For starters, I'd want all of the CV joints, ball joints, and suspension bushings changed. Motor mounts. Hoses. Vacuum lines. Maybe wheel bearings. Check the radiator and heater core. Exhaust system. With the age and miles lots of stuff may be ready for maintenance.

Although its a different beast, I had a 92 Integra and sold it at 158k because normal things started needing to be replaced and it was time for me to move on. It was still on original everything except for the radiator, master cylinder, timing belt, CV boots and motor mounts.

i personally didn't enjoy my 1997 ITR back in 2000 when i bought it... it only had 5k miles on it and sucked compared to my S2000 which sucked compared to my Evo...and so on...... mine had an intake and greddy exhaust and was stupid loud for how not fast it was.
good looking car though....

Why buy any older honda for that matter? They all get stolen, even older accord get stolen.

^ off of nada.com Just guessing with those book values the insurance can't be too high can they? it doesn't have any big hp to weight ratio either... basically a max of $10k for the value.
