imagine driving that thing on the freeway.. downshift.. blip the throttle and your going like 120+, hold it down for too long and your either going over 200 or in the back of someone hah
i wonder what the top speed could be if they tried to top that thing out..
i would guess the gears would top it out at whatever it is they top out at

Power isn't the problem, specifically. Torque is. By limiting torque in the first gear especially, he can reduce the required torque capacity of the geartrain.
Still, that's a monster motor!
