Winter Car?
I've come across a 1992 Subaru Legacy wagon. They are asking under $3,000 and it has under 55,000 miles on it. I'll only be using it for hauling stuff from Home Depot and as a winter driver. It has a 5 speed and a 4 cylinder engine.
Anyone out there have any experience good or bad with 90's Subaru's? It won't compare with the S2000 but it will let me keep it in the garage when the weather is bad.
Thanks!!
John

IIRC, Subaru was still selling FWD versions of the Legacy in 1992. So $3000 sounds like a pretty good deal if its the AWD version - But not so hot if it's only the FWD version.
Used AWD Subarus command ridiculous prices in the Northeast US IMHO. If you are considering other winter cars, look at other cheaper FWD cars too. A light FWD car with snow tires is ideal for winter weather.
