- no rollover protection, for which many tracks/DE promoters are raising their standards.
- more wind noise
- more creaks/rattles
- nobody can steal the top off of a coupe
I'd love to see an S2000 fastback coupe, but am not holding my breath waiting for it.

Since Hyundai sorta botched their attempt at a modern 240SX (too much "G" in there!), and Nissan foolishly focused all their attention on a 3800+ lb. overwrought/overpriced/overweight GTR, Honda should DEFINITELY give it a go.
Take an S13, throw in S2k styling, S2k suspension, F22C with 9000rpm redline.
Take advantage of coupe architecture to lose some weight! 2600 lb. please.
Thanks, Honda!

A V6, fastback version of the S2000 would be awesome.
Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see anything like that in our lifetime.

Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see anything like that in our lifetime, and if they did make it, they would not be smart enough to send it to North America so again we are back to not seeing it...
Yes, I'm still bitter over Honda forgetting to give us this.

Sorry, but this fwd, 118 hp beast is all you're going to get from Honda for a coupe.
There is a great deal of info, obviously based in rumor and so called facts, that 118 is lower that what will be offered.

I think, like many of you, that Honda should go for it. Maybe reinvent the prelude but only FR with iVTEC V6 or even the K20A. However I don't see it happening. I still have my hopes high for the Toyota/Subaru FR Coupe Project. That's if they decided to make it. Only no boxer engine please. Regular inline4 for me.
