You won't see it, in if they did do it it wouldn't have any torque.

A V6, fastback version of the S2000 would be awesome.
Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see anything like that in our lifetime.
LMAO. 2 seat RWD coupe. faster than S2000. and it needs a V6

you guys are funny. they already made one long time ago.----> NSX

is it V6? is it faster than S2000? is it RWD? it is not 2+2 front engine coupe, but it's a mid engine two seat coupe. however, that shit failed in the market.

Totally agree. If Honda made a RWD coupe I may not have gotten my G. Although a TL coupe (CL) may not have done the trick (FWD). I definitely love the way the new TL looks though, a coupe would probably look pretty good as well.
they made one, but a lot of us just can't afford it. 89000 msrp. sad.

Nice car. We've talked about replacing one of our two S2000s with one some day. But as you said, $89,000 MSRP. It doesn't count for this discussion. (Used market doesn't apply either.) Take an S2000, put in a V6 and add in a Spoon-like fastback with bigger trunk, higher stiffness, and less weight - how much do you think that'd cost? Hell, an Accord with an MSRP of $29k gets a 271hp V6! Sure, there'd be crash testing and emissions testing - but amortize that over the lifetime of the "next gen S2000" and get, what, maybe a $5k MSRP increase? It'd be a wonderful car, IMO.

Thus, saving for a hardtop.

The current Accord coupe's exterior is just odd looking. Even the sedan is awkward.
