Will Honda ever make a RWD COUPE?
How many of you would opt for a 2+2 coupe over a convertible? I know I would. Since they already have the RWD platform for the S2000, why not a coupe version??? It doesn't even have to be a 2+2, I just want a coupe!
Sorry, I'm looking for a coupe and would like to stay with Honda, but with the BMW's, G's, Z's, etc., I'm having a hard time trying to justify an Accord/Civic. WTH, look at the Hyundai with the Genesis coupe!!!
Had to vent.

Totally agree. If Honda made a RWD coupe I may not have gotten my G. Although a TL coupe (CL) may not have done the trick (FWD). I definitely love the way the new TL looks though, a coupe would probably look pretty good as well.

No, Honda will not make a rwd car. Its pretty much shelved the awd platform development for Acura, and is focusing on small, efficient, high mpg cars these days.
In other words, fwd, low hp cars, nothing rwd.

Engines haven't really gotten smaller, either. Stayed the same or even a bit bigger. (Civic's R18's are 1.8L and Si's are 2.0L). I believe the efficiency has gotten better, though. I do like their focus on "Safety for Everyone" and building efficient engines, but I remember back in the hey day, we had efficient cars (CRX HF, Civic VX/HX) and exciting performance cars on top of that (Prelude, ITR, etc.). Just miss those days....
