It took me a whole 24 hrs amit I actually ordered them about a week ago, it took longer to locate a car than it did to get the wheels in. I'm still at the shop, pics when I get up, I'm running late...

Did you consider the Lexus RX? If so, how did it compare? Wife bought a used RX in January; I like it just so-so.

I love the interior of the new Tribeca, same sort of vehicle. Did you give those a peek?

Best Wishes,
-Bob

That's a fine choice.

The H1 was a good misdirection for us (I hope so because I would have a hard time understanding how someone could get their wife to agree to drive an H1).

The engine swap from the 430 would not be good for your relationship with your dad (unless you could get a motor from a 612 or a 599 in its place).

what was that old movie with John Cusac (sp?) where they put the Ferrari motor in the sailboat?

The Subi was not one of our options at this time, while it is a car that I like the style and looks of, my wife associates it with my old STI and will not take a Subi as a result

The new RX is a great car as well, and there are some good deals going on them these days, but we did not look much further than the bimmer otherwise I would have put her in an MDX. We may end up adding the new 07 MDX to the fam in the fall if all pans out. It is 100% new

I think the 5 Series has the sexiest headlights available to BMWs today.

It's just so... Elegant
