Default WHY!?! WHY!?! The Honda Pilot has been slightly changed, take a look!

Damn it! My wife is expecting to take delivery of her new '03 Honda Pilot in late May or early June. We just ordered the color (Silver with Grey leather) last week and now I see pictures of what the Pilot will actually look like when it rolls out of the truck. . .

First, here's what I thought we would be getting. . .

And here's the pic of what's to come. . .

The grill looks a whole lot larger on the production model and the Honda emblem is joining the bragging rights of ML320 owners! The deletion of the fog lights drives me wacko, obviously! And it seems that they (Honda) have reduced the size of the rims. Not sure but this looks slightly different and an absolutely "hell yeah" purchase has just come to a screaming crawl. . .

other than the fog lights they look similar to me
and the rims, I am sure those two things are options.
The front grill looks the same. I would just get the fog lights,
and some nice rims for it. thats it.

Why not take a look at the new Toyota Rav4s...They handle just as well as the new Toyota Celicas, have good braking distance as some sports cars, and and has the coolest looking interior...Check this link for pictures

You can't compare a dinky little RAV4 to a Pilot. It would be like comparing an Explorer to an Expedition. The Pilot will resemble the Acura MDX in many respects.

all i see is the foglights...which isn't that huge of a difference... the MDX certainly does look a lot nicer... not sure why it would cost $5k more just for looks though!

The grill looks the same. Its just two different colors which makes it appear to be bigger on the grey Pilot. Also the wheels and fog lights maybe optional so it may still look the same depending on what is ordered.

MY ADVICE is not to buy a vehicle if it doesn't have all 4 crash test results from nhtsa and offset crash test result. Both sites are important for your safety.

Both are IMPORTANT

I bet the top one is an EX and the bottom one is an LX....if that's the model designation Honda will use on the car. Other than some minor trim differences, they look the same to me.
