Why trash the S2k when you get a more powerful car
This really ticked me off. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=74851&page=3
Even when I got my C6 in Oct. of 04 which was the hottest car on the market I still missed and loved my S2k. Whats with the crap attitude,"Now I seek out S2k's and destroy them". Personally I like my S2k as much as my 335i,I could care less if someone else could beat me.

I pick on riced out S2000s who drive like 2F2F idiots (when driving our "more powerful car")
I wave at people enjoying their S2000s for the awesome driving experience that it is.
My wife and I were out for a nice cruise around town in the S2000, ran into a friend. He was like "Why didn't you take the RS4?"
My answer: "The S2000 is much more fun!"
I'd really recommend a supercharger for anyone "tired" or frustrated with their cars. It really retains the character of the car, but increases the capability. With a supercharger and R-compound tires, the S2000 is hard to beat for driving performance and pure enjoyment... at any price.

I agree with some of the posters that your car is whatever suits your needs. If that particular person can't justify paying $36k for a car with 2 seats and a top that can be easily broken into, then he can go ahead and get almost any other car out there. I didn't buy my car to get approval ratings from strangers or even friends.
