Why look for a used NSX?
#21
When I first saw this thread and clicked the link, I thought it was one of those NSX's converted to a kit car Ferrari (like an NSX to F40 conversion I saw somewhere) .
I'd take the Ferrari if it was that or nothing but given the choice I'd rather rock the NSX.

If I had $40,000+ to burn, I think I'd go with the Ferrari 348. I think the styling has held up very well over the years, at least better than the NSX's styling has. And hey, it's a Ferrari.
But back to reality, I'd spend that $40,000+ on a Lotus Elise before I'd ever consider the 348 or the NSX.

I like the 348 a lot, but to choose it over an NSX you would have to:
1. Choose it because its a Ferrari
2. Accept the lower performance car.
3. Accept the car that will cost dramatically more to maintain, and
4. Accept the car with a subpar interior to pretty much anything any of us have ever sat in.
Ive see a few absolutely stunning 348s though. Id love to own one, alongside my NSX tho.
