yeah it's nice but somehow I don't think it will be as reliable as an nsx you can get for 48k. If I were a mechanic or was only going to drive maybe 100 miles/month I'd consider one (and if I could afford it : )
30k miles is a lot for a ferrari, and to me no airbags is a no go and looks dated
EDIT- sorry I meant a car without airbags to me makes the interior dated. The outside is still very pretty imo, but to me not worth the extra $.

in all seriousness the 348 is a nice car, but for the $$$ a f355 would be more worth it,
i've heard from ferrari owners that you should budget about $1 / mile for maintainence costs.

Any Ferrari would cost mucho $$$$ to up keep, and up keep you would, a lot. We are spoild, the NSX is the first super car to not come with super car needs. I'd chose an NSX over this Ferrari any day. Only people I see driving 348s don't look like Ferrari owners. The last one I saw had a guy that looked like Yanni driving the poor thing.

I can think of a number of reasons
1) I wouldn't pay 48k for a 16 year old car.
2) The 348 isn't exactly the most beautiful Ferrari.
3) The NSX would be cheaper to maintain (and you could get a 3.2 litre 6 speed in that 50k area, thus making the car under 10 years old)
