why isn't there an element hybrid?
maybe i've missed the news but why isn't there an element hybrid? gas is raping me right now and i'd love an element on batteries as a garage mate. is one coming? what about a diesel?

They have more hybrids in Japan right now already, but the gas prices here arent' bad enough for a hybrid market to be made bigger.
You can get the FWD version with 26 mpg. If you really want to save gas, you can get a new Civic $13k which gets about 40mpg, which is probably the best way to save gas.

My guess is that the CR-V would be the first utility-type vehicle that Honda would give the hybrid treatment.
But, I did hear of an i-4 Accord hybrid, for those who do not need 255 hp. Just rumors though.
