Why do we talk about the 350Z more than the Z4 when the Z4 is closer to the S2000?

If the Z4 and the S2000 were same price, I'd get the Z4. Not because I want to drive a BMW, but because:

I think Z4 looks better than the s2000!! I just LOVE the styling of the Z4. I know the s2000 is a classic that will never go out of taste, but I still like how the Z4 looks. Z4 is one of the few cars which I just LOVE how it looks. (NSX, Z4, Rx-7, etc.)

No, it's cool. I'm no hater. I just don't want to see a bunch of male stomachs and chest all over this forum. This is mainly a guys hang out so we don't need all of that.

Here's a few reasons to pick a Z4 over S2k:
1) Space- Z4's trunk is almost twice as big, and I think roomier up front
2) Comfort- Z4 is a little more on the luxury side and might be easier to live with and drive
3) Looks- depending on who you are- blend in with classy or be bold
4) Maintenance- no out of pocket during warranty- all checkups (15k service, 30k service, etc.) and oil changes are free while car is under original warranty (as quoted by the dealer)

If they were the same price, I think I'd see a lot more Z4s. I'd personally pick an S2000, but some would like the beamer. It's about choice, and I'm glad it's out there!

Ah, yes, the "I know you are, but what am I?" rebuttal, a favorite of skilled debaters everywhere.

if at all possible, would it be too much to ask to have responses that don't contain the words "Z4" and "ugly"in the same sentence?

I think that the reason why that you guys don't target the Z4 as much as the 350 is because many here don't consider the 4 to be a sportscar having ownership of all the qualities that go with said catagory.

As for the 350, it's natural to target any car that is in your price range with similar performance in the the same catagory....some of you guys are justifying your automobile........and you don't need to do this.......

my opinion only (but that goes without saying)
