Who would consider the UGLY 996 over a 360 Ferrari or Ford GT40

Well, I for one don't care for the looks of the 996, or the 993 turbo- the rear, specially the spoiler doesn't look right. I like(not luv) the non turbo 993, and the 964.
However, i don't I would have started a thread that way.

I do like the 993 more than the 996... based on just styling alone... but the 996 still is extremely beautiful to me. I don't know what you're smoking.

Hey...someone post some pictures of "Herbie" the Luv bug next to a 996 and you will see the STRONG family resembelance between the two. The 996 looks like an old generation VW beetle that melted in the hot Summer sun. I hate the 996. Ferraris, Lambos and the next gen C6 vette and NSX would get my money WAY WAY before the turtle VW 996. The Porsche GT looks very nice but way too much money. I think the last "good" looking Porsche intro' way back in '83.....the 944. The 994 Turbo was an awesome car. It had the looks and the power and handling that make for a sportscar. The 996 has the dynamics but is ugly as sin.
