PRE QUALIFYING REPORT
McLaren look good..
Renault looks shakie
Williams has Problems
Sauber and Red Bull MAY do very well
Ferrari Typical Ferrari, but TIRES
Toyota bad
BAR yes I play fovoritism im happy, look perfect as planned

I look for MS to pull off a BLISTERING 1st qualifying tonight because tomorrows 2nd qualifying will be on race fuel, and tires need to be preseved and Bridgestone has Problems

JB is going to continue to do VERY well. TS, crazy bastard..well see

KR/JPM will both go very fast

FA/GF i think FA will outshine GF tonight, but GF will beat FA in race

the rest... who cares

My pre qualifying race prediction this may change after tonights Qualifying:

1. JPM
2. JB
3. GF

I think the BAR fans are being a little unrealistic. They just don't simply have the pace yet. I expect them to finish midpack at best. Sato has looked awful during the winter and practice. I would give Davidson a shot at driving if Sato doesn't get on track, although Honda politics will probably prohibit that from ever happening.

At lease BAR is running Michelin rubber which seems to have a huge advantage over the Bridgestones so far. I expect the Japanese tire company to get their act together by the 2nd or third race. Most of these teams have no idea how the tires will fare in this race. Should be fun to watch though!

So i guess you guys who voted for Renault were right. BAR was way off pace. Atleast they ducked into the pits at the end of the race. Will this mean they can get a new engine for Malaysia?

I just now voted for Renault. Is that cheating?

I'll continue to root for Sato. It builds character to watch your man lose over and over and over

Anybody else think RedBull is cheating?

How are they basically using last year's Jag and all of a sudden able to run in the top 5 all race with almost no cars retiring? If you watched early in the race DC in front of MW... the RedBull was just eating up the Williams in steady state cornering.

BTW, most boring race I've watched ever.

Let's hope that race was an aberation for lots of reasons, not least of which is BAR with no points.

Yes. In fact, I was surprised that everyone who didn't come in in the points didn't pull into the pits. I was disappointed that BAR hadn't done that - since the announcers made no mention of it. But, it looks like they did - and no one else. They are starting to learn from Ferrari!

The Paul Tracy of F1.

I love how he seems to be unaware that he actually has limits.

Appears that Ford had their blue oval spanner in the works all these years
