I saw a Vette drive by when I was a kid and told my mom I wanted one of those when I grew up.

Had to be a Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach, but I loved my grandpa's early year Mustangs. The Testarossa and 80's style GTO came out in 1984, the same year as I was born, so they are very memorable to me.
Later on, when I got a calendar in 1992 (think it may have been my first or second calendar ever) that had an F40, Lotus Esprit Turbo, Porsche 959, Ferrari GTO, Lamborghini Diablo, and a few others, the F40 became my instant favorite, and remains so to this day. No other car catches my eye quite like an original red Ferrari F40, regardless of the money and technology put in, it will always be the sexiest car to me. The McLaren F1 comes pretty dang close and seems incredibly well engineered, and I instantly fell in love with that car, but the F40 remains my "favorite". Guess I could say to me it is like the Cindy Crawford, or Adriana Lima of supermodels... cars.

1940 Ford Tudor sedan.
I was six years old in 1962, my brother had just started driving and on some Saturday nights he'd take me along to cruise the three local drive-in restaurants' parking lots where everyone showed off their cars. Lots of hots rods, lots of works-in-progress. Amazing amount of primer in evidence.
The '32s, and the '40 coupes, looked great but the turtleback '40 sedans called out to me. Suitably lowered, of course.
My tastes have changed since then.

Growing up, my brother was all about the Countach (remember the Cannonball Run opening?), and I was more into the Testarossa. Then one of dad's Autoweeks landed in the mailbox with that F40 on the cover. And that's the first car I really went gaga over. Just happened to see one at the exotics showroom as I was driving past the other day - still turns heads just like the day it came out. That thing is still bad-ass.

Probably my dads 67 Camaro.
I had plenty of other "unrealistic" dream cars growing up.. I remember when Muscle Machines were all the rage for me as a kid. My best friend had a S2000 Muscle Machine and I loved it.. Never imagined that I would ever own one
