but it had VTEC... we just wanna know when was VTEC ITSELF introduced... not necesarily DOHC...
BUT... we are wondering which was the very first VTEC application in the world...
I am curious about BOTH RACING and PRODUCTION CAR...

I thought there is no VTECH in race car. Because the VTEC lobe is just an aggresive lift compare to the normal. I duno I thought it was the NSX in America

The first US car to get SOHC VTEC was the 93 del Sol (CRX) which was actually a 92 model largely due to the fact that it changed names at the last second from the a "CRX" to a "del Sol". Its kind like my Sti which is a

I know that the Vtec technology was originated in F1 by the Honda team engineers in the early-mid 80's. Like everthing else it later made it to our cars yohoooooo.
