probably a tweener pickup.
something like a mid 90's toyota xtra cab 2wd V6 Auto. We have a 2002 Lexus IS300 and my S and I want something to go to Home Depot or the airport in and not worry about getting it dinged, etc. Plus every once in a blue moon, it would be nice to have the pickup bed.
I can't see shelling out $15-$20K for a new truck and I'm unwilling to get a beater so maybe a nice, used $7K truck is my best bet.

RX-8 and new Infiniti G35 Coupe interest me.....
The Z06 and the E46 M3 are also on top of my list......
But the car I drool over more may be the new 2004 Nissan Skyline GT-R with a twin-turbo V6 (hopefully, easily modable) or a V-8 pushing hopefully 450 bhp....W00T!!!! AWD and a paddle shifter.
Pricetag about $70,000!

lmao
2007 Boxster S
+15HP +15 torque +.2L engine +more aggressive gearing compared to my 2006
should be about 5K more than my car's worth
I'll try to find one that already has some sort of sports exhaust, Porsche short shift kit, Xenons, full leather interior and navigation.
If I tried to do all those things to my current car it would cost me more than 5K...

As far as the S2000, I really don't think I'm going to get rid of it. That car is a car that I plan on keeping... too attached... hehe.
But as an upgrade to my 1998 Subaru Outback, I really want this whenever I will be comfortable in affording one...
2010 MB GLK 350
But I'll probably end up getting this as the replacement...
2006 STI
