Default Whats up.... Ferrari 350 Dino

Ferrari 350 Dino
The everyman's Ferrari. Let's see a $60,000-$80,000 mid-engined, steel-bodied alternative to a plain-Jane Porsche 911. Power it with the lower-output (read: "less expensive") version of the 3.6L V8 already in the Modena tuned to 320-350-hp and NO paddle shift. It might not be the quickest Ferrari, but it would be the most accessible and easiest one to push to its limit.

That would be great, but the chances of any new Ferrari *EVER* being under $100,000 is less likely to happen than me winning the lottery tomorrow, or something even more unlikely.

Hell will freeze and Ferrari will go out of business before such a thing happens, I wager.

Oh, this was in MT "future cars" but that's all I know. I would like to imagine a low priced back to basics Ferrari, but it seems out of the norm.

haha, just as i predicted.

i'm telling you... ferrari is blinded by money.
they already went mainstream when they made 360.

not saying modena is cheap, but it is cheap for a ferrari.
even ferrari admitted that their company image changed because so many, too many people bought 360.

wait and see,
soon they will make ferrari suv too.

yet another motor trend fantasy... it will never happen. The whole point of buying Maserati was to use them for this point in the market.

As for Ferrari begin blinded by money and cheapening their brand, no way. That actually might have been true of cars like the 308, Mondial, and 348, but the 360 is superior and as good a Ferrari as has ever been made.
