anywhere from 5-30 for cars on the lot or when you pick them up. Cars straight off the truck will have from 5-10.

^ Yes. I have customers ask for 0 miles... impossible. They test them at the facory, then pull them on the ships/trucks, then park them at port, then put them on trucks to get to dealers, then the dealers test/check them in, then one or two people test drive them....

average is around 20 i'd say. but if we trade for a color to another store it could be up to 150 miles ++ or if it has been test driven a few times with potential clients it could have even more.

No way I'd buy a new car with anywhere near 150 miles. You can find them with under 20 miles pretty easily if you are talking about the number of miles on the odo while it's on the original shipping truck that brings the car to the dealer. I've seen as low as 1 mile and some change.

the 2 new vehicles i've bought have had 7 miles on them. anything over 10 and i'd say it has been test driven already.

even if the car was custom ordered by a customer? Let's say a Mini Cooper?

I think the most should be no more than 5-10 miles. These days, dealers are getting smart about using test driver car. Instead of putting miles on every single new cars, they put it all on one car, and then sell it cheap while still making money. At least that's what mid to high end car dealer do. I don't know if its worth it for a chevy cobalt or something.

I've only ever bought 2 cars new. I had a Honda Prelude that came with 16 miles. And my Evo IX had 4 miles on it when I bought it.
