Yes 90 to 96 Z32 300zx with a VG30TT( I think thats right) 6cyl twin turbo.
I like that version better btw. And to this day it is still one of my favorite cars.
I love those cars.. the styling is still very appealing, even today (of course that is subjective). The only thing that prevents me from buying one is that they are an absolute pain to work on... well I guess that and the fact that they are also pretty heavy.

Slightly off topic, but...

s2kpdx01 I loved the mike tyson quote... classic.

Also don't let them give you a hard time about tracking your car... at least you're out there... Besides the Z's ARE fast and if you're in the straights, as long as you know how to shift, driving skill doesn't really mean much anyway.

I do LOVE the tourque in those Z's, but the Honda won my $$$ in the end.

peace

That is why my dad got rid of his for a Vette. Heaven forbid you have to change the turbos $$$$. That engine is cramped.

I track my care quite a bit and I'm not the fastest driver in the world, but I'm far from the slowest. The fact is a car that has roughly 300HP driven correctly vs a car that has 240 HP driven correctly at higher speeds is going to have a pretty large advantage. The weight issue is a big deal in the corners, during braking, and low speed accel, but once you are on an extremely long straight away and are just banging gears at redline, logic dictates the car with 60 more HP, and better aero will have a sizable advantage.
