To me, any lumpy V8 with exhaust cut-outs. Say a cammed Mustang or Vette (e.g. my '03 Z06 with twin Flowmaster Y's open). The rumble of the earth sends chills down my spine.

I love the lopey-ness (??) of my C5's cam and Corsa exhaust.

On a side note, maybe this thread should have had more specifics? New or used cars? Stock or aftermarket exhausts?

Nice to see Vettes getting some love on S2Ki! That Z looks sick with the L5 rear fenders and it sounds great!

Anything goes, as long as the total cost of the car and/or modifications are under $50K!

This is a great thread I've actually been looking for this very thing.

What I have come up with is either

Cayman S with Remus exhaust

or

370z with intake,headers and exhaust...

I'm going with the Cayman S

Couldn't agree with your Cayman S with Borla Exhaust any more. I've had plenty of seat time in one of the board members' Cayman S' with that exhaust and the sound is divine.

If you guys think a Cayman S with exhaust sounds nice how about a 2002 911 with exhaust.

Great sound.

^^ I prefer the sound of an early 911 with 2.7 engine and megaphone exhaust pipes. I can't really find a good sound clip of such, though.

That F355, is the best so far. I think the M3 had the best for a 6cyl. Lotus Elise with track pipe for a 4 cyl.
