I guess it takes all types, but my god either that's a bad photo or that car is hideous (IMO) I don't mean to hate, but Chris Bangle looks like the greatest car designer in the world next to that contraption (IMO).

I usually think you have good taste but since I owned one of those I can't this time. Keep in mind that body style went away in 1967 and it was pretty slick looking for its day. By todays standards it wasn't all that fast and it didn't drive that well but it remains my all time favorite of all the many cars I've owned. Mine was a 64 red on red with a white top and a red hardtop. 327 cubes, 300 hp, 4sp., and the sweetest V8 sound I've ever heard.

agree with CG, but I still don't consider it a roadster...

that's like a T-Bird/Old Jag convertible comparison IMO

I think the Miata is clearly the winner. Not because it corners the best, provides the best styling, and (certainly) not because it's the fastest. It's all about the overall experience of owning the car. It's built for the single purpose of being enjoyable to drive. You always feel the urge to head down PCH when you're behind the wheel. The enthusiasts are the prototypical roadster crowd. You will never find a group of individuals that love their vehicle more, and no offense to s2ki, but you will also never find a group that loves other owners as much. When it came time to look at either the S2000 or the MSM, it was a total toss-up. It confuses non-enthusiasts, but I'd actually be prouder to say I owned a Miata than the S. Had the MSM provided a little more room for us tall folk...

Maybe it's the hood bulge or something (just doesn't work for me). I prefer cars that looks subtle but classy like the Z8 for example.

James Bond or Corvette summer?

my dad owns a c2 stingray. it looks pretty IMO, and is fast (375hp/425 ftlbs), but its only fun to drive for about an hour, then becomes a complete pain in the ass. for fun, excitement, and quality, i'd have to give it to the s2000, but a much, much more expensive 911 turbo cab is also very nice (and fast as hell).
