What's the best coupe for under 25k?
#22
With some careful shopping and if you don't mind a little higher mileage...yes. I have been watching prices very careful over the last few months. You have to watch carefully and jump quickly, but a used S2K can be had for somewhere in the realm of $22.5k. Keep an eye open on autotrader.com and a few other websites.

If you go with the E36 M3, make sure you have a large reserve of cash to maintain and/or repair it. German cars are not cheap to own and you might want to learn how to fix some of the major components in the car yourself or save up alot of money to have someone repair it for you.
If the M3 were as low cost to maintain as the S, I would've picked one up already.
Just some food for thought.
As far as coupes are concerned, my vote goes to the Celica GT-S. It's the best bang for the buck imo. The RSX-S just looks too generic and downright porky in comparison to the Celica. Heck, find a used Integra Type R if you want to stick with Acura/Honda. I know that there are still some new Preludes selling as well so you might want to check that out. They have been selling for about 21k or less recently.
If you want more luxury, the Accord V6 EX coupe is nice and also can be had for around 22-23k. Just make sure you throw on some good coilovers as the first order of business..

I'd love to give you my thoughts on this but your question is a little vague.
You ask for the best coupe for under $25K. Best at what? Speed, style, comfort, luxury? Get my drift. Give us a little bit to work with here. You'll find that this board is full of great people with diverse backgrounds and opinions but good insight.
