What'd you get for $120K(ish) price of a 911 tt ?

Agreed...while I absolutely love my recently departed 2004 996TT I don't think I would be happy with it being my only car as it has its limitations. It certainly could be a one and only car under the right conditions but if nothing more than wanting to keep the mileage down I would want something else.
I'd get an Esprit V8 for weekends/vacation roadtrips, a hybrid (civic or Prius) for daily commuting and some sort of track toy (S2K, Miata, Elise).

Lately I've been thinking this out as well. . . I've heard the 911 GT2 is in the 130-140k range. I'd go for this, if your planning on spending 120k already. But miles on a GT2 and maintenance is what you'll have to keep in mind. . . so you'll need primary transportation . . . something...?
If I were to spend 120k total on two or three cars. My choice would be as follows.
03-04 Range Rover / 04 M3 / and a bike. - that's about 120k right there...
If you go for the 911 Turbo ----> GT2

I guess it's kind've silly to ask this question on this board because most of us think like people that can afford $30K-$40K cars (even though many of us can afford more). But I can honestly say that most people I know that can afford a $120K 911 TT, can/usually afford to park a $50K SUV next to it. At this level the difference between $120K & $170K is not much.
