What are your thoughts on the Ducati Monster S4?

The S4's MSRP is too high for what you get vs. the competition, but if you can get one for less than $9,000 I might go for it. Even at nine grand though there are a lot of great bikes to choose from (mostly Japanese).

I regularly participate in the Ducati Monster List (see mostro.org) and have been in touch with quite a few people who either sold M900's to get S4's or came from some other bike to the S4. All have raved about both the handling and the power. Personally, my M900 has enough power for me, so I'm not tempted by the S4.
If you don't like seeing the radiator hoses, cover them up with carbon fiber pieces like they did on the Foggy version. That one looks very clean.
The dark grey S4 with the red wheels (Senna version?) is one of the best looking bikes ever, in my opinion.
